Research Strategies designs each Mystery Shopper Program for the specific client’s needs. Most retail Mystery Shopper Programs monitor sales performance in addition to image perception factors. Mystery Shops are conducted during normal operating hours by shoppers who are selected to match the store or business’ customer’s demographic profile. The mystery shopper’s identity is kept secret; therefore, management and sales associates are never aware that they are being evaluated. A Mystery Shopper gathers specific data such as sales associates’ greetings, customer qualifications, product/knowledge, closings, product/service standards, etc., to ensure our clients that their associates’ sales closure skills are at the highest level possible.
